Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney

Location: Orlando, Florida (Hybrid Schedule Available)
Compensation: $195,000 – $275,000 + Comprehensive Benefits
Schedule: Full-Time


Position Overview

A highly regarded litigation-focused law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney to join its growing practice. The firm handles sophisticated business disputes for corporate, financial, and individual clients across a variety of industries nationwide.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney looking to gain hands-on involvement in complex litigation matters while working closely with experienced trial lawyers in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.


Core Responsibilities

  • Assist with all stages of commercial litigation matters from case inception through trial and appeal
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda, and other litigation-related filings in state and federal courts
  • Conduct detailed legal research and contribute to overall litigation strategy
  • Manage discovery processes including document review, written discovery, and case organization
  • Support depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation efforts
  • Work directly with clients, co-counsel, experts, and internal legal teams regarding ongoing case matters
  • Handle litigation matters involving commercial disputes, securities issues, financial matters, real estate conflicts, and related business litigation

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
  • Active U.S. bar admission or ability to obtain admission in the applicable jurisdiction
  • Approximately 3–5 years of litigation experience within a law firm setting
  • Experience handling commercial, financial, securities, or business litigation matters preferred
  • Strong legal writing, analytical reasoning, and research abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a high-volume legal environment
  • Professional communication skills and strong courtroom presence preferred

Preferred Background

  • Experience drafting substantive motions and appellate briefs
  • Exposure to hearings, depositions, and trial preparation
  • Interest in trial-focused litigation environments
  • Ability to work effectively within collaborative legal teams while taking ownership of assignments
