Commercial Real Estate Associate Attorney
Location: Greenwich, CT
Schedule: Full-Time
Compensation: $160,000 – $200,000 annually
Work Arrangement: Hybrid / Onsite Flexibility Available
A growing legal practice is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Associate Attorney to support a broad range of sophisticated transactional matters. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with strong commercial real estate experience who enjoys handling complex deals, working directly with clients, and collaborating in a fast-paced legal environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage commercial real estate transactions through all stages, including drafting, negotiation, due diligence, and closing
- Prepare and review purchase agreements, leases, loan documents, and related transactional materials
- Conduct title, survey, zoning, and corporate due diligence reviews
- Support acquisitions, dispositions, refinancing matters, leasing transactions, and development projects
- Coordinate with clients, lenders, brokers, developers, and outside counsel to facilitate smooth transaction execution
- Provide practical legal guidance regarding commercial real estate and transactional matters
- Maintain organized transaction files while managing multiple active matters and deadlines
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active Connecticut Bar admission or eligibility for admission
- Prior experience handling commercial real estate transactions in a law firm or similar environment
- Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and client management abilities
Preferred Background
- Experience with commercial leasing, financing, land use, or development-related matters
- Exposure to complex transactional real estate work for institutional or business clients
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work within a collaborative legal team
