Corporate International Finance & Business – Senior Counsel / Junior Partner

Location: Hybrid (Multiple Locations)
Compensation: $195,000 – $250,000 base (commensurate with experience and business development potential) + full benefits
Schedule: Full-Time | ~1,850 billable hour expectation


Overview

A well-established, full-service law firm with a strong regional footprint is seeking a Senior Counsel or Junior Partner-level attorney to join its Corporate and Transactional practice. The firm is recognized for its sophisticated deal work, collaborative culture, and strong client relationships across corporate finance and business transactions.

This role offers direct involvement in complex transactional matters, strong mentorship from senior leadership, and the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility in both deal execution and client development.


Role Responsibilities

This attorney will play a central role in managing a broad range of corporate and finance matters, including:

  • Leading and supporting corporate transactions from initiation through closing
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating key transactional documents such as purchase agreements, financing documents, and commercial contracts
  • Advising clients on corporate structuring, governance, and regulatory considerations
  • Conducting detailed due diligence to identify legal, financial, and transactional risks
  • Acting as a primary client liaison throughout deal execution and post-closing matters
  • Supporting restructuring, financing, and cross-border transactional work as needed

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
  • Active bar admission in a U.S. jurisdiction or eligibility for admission
  • At least 2+ years of experience in corporate, transactional, or finance-focused legal work
  • Strong legal analysis, drafting, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple active transactions in a fast-moving environment

Preferred Experience

  • Exposure to private equity, venture capital, or institutional investor clients
  • Experience with complex financing structures or cross-border deal work
  • Ability to independently manage deal components while collaborating within a larger team
  • Strong client communication and relationship management abilities
